Dear Forrest:

In looking through the new official rotary 1943
directory received this morning,it gave me quite a thrill
to find that both the President and Secretary of the
Lawerence Rotary Club were members of the staff at the
University of Kansas. The reason, well I happen to have
a redheaded son now attending the Army Specialized Training
Program at your school, and it just seemed to me that he was
"amongst Friends", upon learning that possibly at least part
of his Educators were "good old Rotarians".

His name is Lewis J Jones, and is located in Room 133,
Lindley Hall, and I am sure that he would get quite a thrill
and would appreciate greatly, and so would I, if sometime, in
your travels you happen to run into him, if you will tell him
