July 1, 1948. Dr. Jd. Ca Jessen, Peabody, Kensas. Dear Dr. Jessen; ca. I have been intending to write you for quite some time regarding Charles Moffitt. I think he is a dandy boy and he is all that you say he is regarding basketball. I: saw him in the intramural tournament. We had a short one for the five-weeks boys, many of whom were finishing July l. We will not stert our summer basketball prac- tice until after July 12, but I can see now that this boy Moffitt has it. He is a fine chap, is ea splendid gentiemen, and I think e much better than average student. I am pleased to have him with us and I em sincerely hoping that I can teach him some additional skills. With all good wishes, I am Sincerely yours, Direeter of Physical Education, PCA:AH | Varsity Basketball Coach.
