Dear Fog:

It was nice to have your letter of August
ik4th and I read with a great deal of interest copy of letter
which you have written to your basketball men. It did stir
old memories and brought back once again to mind the many
joys I had at the University and particularly on the basket-
ball court with you and the other boys. There is nothing I
cherish more in my University life than my basketball exper-
ience.

I am sorry I was out of town when you were
here Wednesday, but even so, I am afraid I could not have
played any golf at that time. I have been tremendously busy
and it looks very much as though it will continue for a while
yet anyway, all of which pleases me, of course.

Some way, we will get together this fall,
if not before.
