Husker Personalities - 3 Max Hulbert was an all state and all Greater Lincoln league ohegen in his high school days at Hevelock, a suburb of Lincoln. He is a guard and one of the most promising sophomores on Coach Browne's varsity. Bill Kovanda is the fastest man on the Husker basketball squad. He excels as a floor man. Kuvanda won a minor letter last season at a forward position, His home is at Elk Creek, Nebraska. Kenneth Lord, one of the eight sophomores on the varsity, is a candidate for a forward position. He hails from McCocl Junction. Lawrence Nelson, tallest player on the squad, standing 6-7, won a major varsity letter two years ago. He did not compete last year. Nelson is a senior in school, He was en all state player et Curtis Aggie high. Home; Moorefield, Nebraska. Bob Parsons, all conference guard his junior year, is the outstanding player on the cients basketball squad. He is an excellent shot from any part of the court, | Geneon ranks well as 2 defensive player. Hc stands 6-2 and played his high school ball in Lincoln. His brother, Rvllin, better known as Bud, was @ member of the Husker varsity three years back. Frank Tullman, a Creston, Iuwa boy, is another sophomore candidate.
