Dear Dr. Allen:

On two different occasions, I have talked with
various people at Topeka High School concerning a speaking date
there. On both occasions, I was told they would let me know,
put I have heard nothing from it.

Consequently, yesterday I attempted to get in con-
tact directly with Mr. Van Slyck, but find he is out of the city
attending a convention at Cleveland and will not return until the
latter part of next week. I will see him personally as soon as
he returns and let you know.

I will try to see you after the Oklahoma game.
