Dear Faculty Member:

It has been announced officially that Dr. R. A. Schwegler,
Dean of the School of Education, will retire as Dean at
the end of the present school year.

The faculty and students of the School of Education have
planned a dinner and program in recognition of the comple-—
tion of his years as Dean of the School. This dinner wili
be held in the Memorial Union Building on Monday, May 26,

You are invited to attend the dinner and to join with other
friends of Dr. Schwegler in assuring the success of the
evening's program. We trust that you can plan to be
present. You are also authorized to inform other interested
persons in your office or elsewhere who, by some change,

may not have received this announcement. . Wives, husbands,
and sweethearts are invited.

It will be necessary, in order that adequate provision be
made for the dinner, to ask that reservations be sent in on
the inclosed card, or otherwise, before Friday, May 23.

The dinner tickets will cost the purchaser 75 cents each.
