“Modern Food Markets and Our Diet”—Viola Anderson, Accusiais Professor of
Home Economics, University of Kansas.

The present day food market offers a bewildering variety of foods advertised in glowing terms.

New food combinations and foods merchandized in new ways are available. The effect which
some of the recent changes in our market may have upon our food habits will be discussed.

be a group discussion of subjects pertaining to HEALTH AND NUTRITION under the leader-
ship of Dr. Florence Sherbon and Kathryn Tissue of the Department of Home Economics and of
Dr. R. I. Canuteson of the Health Service at the University. Those attending the conference
are cordially invited to join with this group.
