Dear Miss Hulteen,

I didn't get your letter until the first
of this week since I have not been home for two weeks
and all my mail that is forwarded to me always gets
here about a week later than ordinary.

The key you asked for, you will find enclosed
in this letter. I didn't know whether I had it nor
not but after searching through all my purses, as luck
would have it, I found it in an old coin purse. I tried
to take the key back several times but the office was
always closed at my time.

I am very sorry to cause you all this trouble
and i do hope you will pardon me for my negligence in
not answering your letter sooner.
