Dear Doc:

Just a line to congratulate Bob on his
play in the second half at the Municipal
Auditorium last Saturday evening.

He richly deserves the All-American selection
which he received and I know to you, as his
Dad, it was a real thrill.

It was a shame to have lost the ball game,
but the way that ball was going through the
hoop for them Saturday Night they would have
beaten the Phillis 66 team.

God Baless you and keep you, Boy, you have done
and are doing a tremenduously fine job at the
University of Kansas. You probably will never
know, Doc, how much inspirational good you have
done.
