Dear Phog:

When I saw you in Lawrence last Thursday you told me
that negotiations were on to refund the bonded indebted-
ness of the Kansas University Physical Education Cor-
poration. If 1 remember correctly you remarked that
a meeting was being held on that date.

Will you please advise me whether anything definite
has been done up to this time. Also, are you free to
disclose the name of the firm who have made the under-
writing proposition. Just off hand I would guess it
is Estes & Company at Topeka, who have been rather
active in trading the bonds the last few years.

I shall greatly appreciate hearing from you in this
connection, and with best regards remain
