Dear Docs:

I em enclosing herein our contracts for our game in
Chicago. I would appreciate your consideration of the followe
ing problems that I em facedwith and which you,I em sure,will
understand inasmuch as you have had a great deal of experience
in the intricacies of arranging schedules.

: I em very anxious to play both Kansas University and
Colorado on this year's schedules I have just received a wire
from Colorado to the effect that they are coming through on
their way frp om New York and could play a geme on Jenuary 2
if I could accomodate theme I would like to play them but not
at the expense of losing the game with Kansas. If,however,you
could play on some other night,it would then be possible for me
to obtain both games for my schedule, If you can't play on any
other night,merely fill in the date of Jenuary 2,keep one copy
for yourself and return two executed by you to my office.

If you can play on any of the following dates; January
8, Jenuary 15, and February 11,1 would appreciate it if you would
fill in that date and keep one copy for yourself and return two to
my office, In other words , I am leaving it entirely up to you, I
realize that you will play ball with me if it is at all possible,

Please bear in mind that Kansas is more important to me than
Colorado and the fréndship of Dre Allen certainly one that I value
very highlye
