Dear “Phog":

I am taking the liberty to send you the basket ball
shirts about which I have been writing you but I have delayed
doing so for a few days thinking maybe Mandeville could tuck
them under his arm and talk to you about them some day soon.
If and when you get the package and look these shirts over you
feel that they are worth 75¢ each to you for any purpose you
are welcome to them at that price.

On the other hand if you cannot use them or if there
is not some fraternity group or some other bunch of boys up
there that can use them and you do want to return them it will
be O-Ke to mail them back in or give them to Mandy the first
time he is around. I am sending him a copy of this letter so
he will be advised accordingly-

I am frank to admit that they might be just a little
smal] for some of your boys then again there are a few that
will be all right as to sizese My thought was that you could
at least use them as a practice garment on some of your second
or third stringers.

Drop up to the second floor and see us occasionally
when you are in towne Mrs- Allen dropped in and paid us a
little visit a month or two ago and had a mighty fine looking
daughter with her and if I remember correctly looks a little
bit like the pater side of the family.
