UNITED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS , FOR NATIONAL DEFENSE, INC. MEMBER AGENCY—THE YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATIONS 257 John St., Bridgeport, Conn., Sept. 28, 1942. Dr. Allen, Director of Athletics, Kansas University, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear "Fogg":- I was on your campus this summer, playing a game called “Aeirial Dart", with a piece of solid rubber, with six feathers stuck in it. A wooden paddle was used. This game is known in the West, but apparently not in the East, for I cannot find a catalog in New York City that has it listed, or anyone who has ever heard of the game. I am with the U.S.0. Club in Bridgeport, Conn., and would like very much to secure two dozen of these darts. Could you put me in touch with the Company from whom you buy them, or, if you have an extra dozen, I would buy them direct from you. Hoping to have this information as soon as possible, I am, Very truly yours, MS..MLT. (Mary Stewdrt) Per . Director U.S.0.
