Dear Karl:

As per the cell from my office this afternoon, the
military coordinator for the ASTP students here at the
Wniversity informed me that the Omeha office would not
eccept the bids that were submitted for gym equipment.

They thogght tho prices wore too high.

Tt thought it best to let you !mow ao that you could

order.

My purpose was to cooperate with the University -
authorities in getting the earliest possible delivery on
these shoes. I am sorry the order did not go through,
mt I believe we did everything we possibly could.
