Dear Dr. Allen,

Since we do not make the G385 canton flannel mat covers here
in Kansas City, it is necessary for us to write to a New York fac-
tory who does make them for a sample of the material. We have
done this today asking that they send us a small piece of the mater-
jal which we in turn will forward to you. This will probably take
a week or ten days, but we assure you it will be sent immediately up-
on receipt of the sample here.
