Dear Doctor;

It was a surprise to me to learn that the sample
gym trousers and gym shorts were not sent to you until yesterday -
I had presumed these had gone out several days ago in keeping
with Arno's promise to me. He tells me that the order got
sidetracked in the designing department and he did not know about
this delay himself until yesterday, at which time he put the
order on through.

The prices entered on the attached copy of invoice
which we are sending to Carl's represents our actual factory
prices - there is no profit added for the selling division. We
feel sure the quotations are in line with what anyone else can
offer based on present material and labor costs.

After looking the samples over we will be glad to have
a line from you indicating your reaction.
