My dear "Phog": Karl Royer has just shown me your letter of December lst, and I have read it carefully. It is so easy to misunder- stend each other in letters that I say definitely let's do not prolong this correspondence but let's do get together man-to-man and face-to-face and clear it up once and for all. This can so easily be accomplished because you do come down to Kansas City every once in a while, that I suggest that the next time you do come you prepare to give us say an hour of your time and we will go into all of this thoroughly and work it out to the best interests of all concerned. I am sure both sides want to be perfectly friendly and this we can't do through letter writing, as I think you will agree. Therefore, I hope you will accept this invitation to drop in and see us at an early date. I am expecting to be out of the city the week of the 13th but will be here all of next week. Very truly, DKC :AM
