Executive Administrator, Recreation Training School, Works Progress Administration, New York City I organized the Recreation Training School in 1934 and set up the policy, scope and organization, selected the personnel, including assistants, office staff, and faculty, set up the curriculum and course content. I have operated the School for two years with an enrollment of 1000 students, each stu- dent with a minimum requirement of two hours per week in training. October lst, 1936 we secured the services of Dr Frank S$ Lloyd of New York University as our part-time Director. We then re- organized the School to include four Divisions of training, as follows: 1. General background instruction with visiting faculty of educators from the institutions of higher education in New York City. 2 The Physical and Social Skills Division.
