My dear Governor Talmadge:

‘I wish to call your attention to the fact that in
your State you have a concern making a foot correction device,
which our Department has been using successfully for the past
two yearse I em of the opinion that this should be brought to

the attention of the proper authorities of the United States
Amy for use in training new recruits.

I would gladly call this device to the attention of
‘the Army myself, but since the machine is being made in your
State it would be an easy matter to cause a further investigation
into its meritse The results of such an investigation could be
passed on to Nashington if the seme proved satisfactory.

This is being called to your attention in the spirit
of “Giving credit where credit is dues"
