My dear Governor Talmadge:

I wish to call your attention to the fact that
in your State you have a concern making a foot correc-
tion device, which our Department has been using success-
fully for the past two years. I am of the opinion that
this should be brought to the attention of the proper
authorities of the United States Army for use in train-
ing new recruits.

I would gladly call this device to the attention
of the Army myself, but since the machine is being made in
your State it would be an easy matter to cause a further |)
investigation into its merits. The results of such an in-
vestigation could be passed on to Washington if the same
proved satisfactory. |

This device is being manufactured by the Lang Foot
& Arch Normalizer Co., of Forsyth, Georgia.

This is being called to your attention in the
spirit of "giving credit where credit is due".
