ae 4 Yale Club Vanderbilt Avenue and Forty-fourth Street New York October 3, 1940 Dear Dr. Allens: You probably did not get my letter in time for me to receive the letter of introduction re- quested to Roland Logan. I went to West Point last Saturday with a former West Point all round athlete, Col. Geo. beavers and met not only Logan but the Physician in charge of the team. My device has been in use there I find for the past three years and they are well pleased with it and use it all the time. Logan did not think that the device was mine as their former trainer purchased it and the label had worn off. Strange thing the new team physivian is the same doctor that « met at the Walter Reed hospital in Wesh- -ington and who was in charge of making the report on mybdevice to the Surgeon General. Reed an order for a trial to go to Overbrook H.S, Coach Bob Hunt. You told him about it. I sent it off today from N.Y. where I am for the present. We uave some money coming from two Texas High Schools but they are slow pay. Kindest regerds. Sincerely yours, Frederick W./ Lang ; 555 Hast 68 St. New York City use this address
