Roll Away Your Foot Troubles to re net ow LANG Foot & ARCH NORMALIZER Co. FORSYTH, GEORGIA Jume I7, 1940 Deer Dr. Allen: Many thanks for your offer to make good for the Darling machine but I do not desire o take any loss on this. Also the amount your check is too large, as all il would be entitled to is my exact cost and not the retail cost minus commission. I am returning your check enclosing same herewith, and with many thanks to you for your fairness in this matter, I have lost very few this same way so therefore we Ge still afford to take a chance on others, I would like to add your friend Elywé@n Dees at the University of “ebraska to our list. I have sent for a copy of the magazine entitled Journal of “ealth and Physical Education and would like some way to be able to obtain a list of the Directors of Phy. Ed. at the varbous colleges. Do you know how I could obtain such a list? Dont you think that the Directors would be just as interested in obtaining our device as the football or basketball trainers. Trainer Tucker P, Smith,at: Ohio State Univ. has had a machine since ist fall but hasnt paid for it. Frankly I would rather give it to him rather then to get the device back but naturally we would rather get paid for it. Gould you in some way find out what his reaction is as to its use] Frankly business conditions due to the wear are now terrible. I look for some drastic chenges to be made in this country. I have taken exhibit space at the Am. Congress of Physical therapy (Am. Med. ass. breneh) to be held in Cleveland Sept i to 7 md a going to try to get my machine passed by that body end then I cm have it adopted by the U.S, army and Navy and other U.S.branches but not unless they first pass it. Two of the Trustees of this outfit know me end my machine end are for me however this is not easy to get passed. Do you know any of these men. Kindest regards, W/ barr,
