Gentlemen:

Your letter has been received advising us that you
are returning the four dozen shuttlecocks sent you recentlye
It is true that your order called for five dozen indoor
shuttlecocks with white feathers, but we had only four dozen
available and they did have dark featherse We do not have
any indoor shuttlecocks on hand at this time and doubt if we
will have during the summer, It is practically impossible to
get them with white feathers,

No doubt the best thing for us to do would be to
issue credit when the four dozen are returned, rather than
hold for an exchange since it is so indefinite as to when we
might have suitable shuttlecocks,. Our suggestion to you would
be that you try and locate them elsewhere. Certainly srry
that we could not send what was wantede
