Gentlemens:

We received your invoice billing us for four dozen
badminton shuttlecocks and also received the four dozen
shuttlecocks.’ We ordered five dozen, end therefore, presume
that four dozen is’ all that you had on hand and that the
other one dozen will be sent to us when you can get them.

However, the four dozen that we have received have
dark feathers, The dark feathers can not be seen in our
gymnasium and for that reason we are returning the four
dozen to you in exchange for four dozen, or five dozen
if you have them, shuttlecocks with white feathers.
