I do not know whether or not you are the proper
person to address on the subject of the N.C.A.A.
Tournament, if not, I am sure you will refer me to
such person. There has recently been organized in
Kansas City, as you may be aware, the Heart of America
Amateur Sports Council, the purpose of which is to en-
courage amateur sports activities and particularly
major events.

I have been made Chairman of a Committee which
has for its purpose lending such assistance as we
may in making the coming N.C-A.A. Tournament a com-
plete success. If you will therefore outline to us
what we may do to be helpful, we will make every
effort to carry out your suggestions.
