I have just received the informtion this afternoon
from our military coordinator here at the University that
_ the Omaha office has turned down the bids that were sub-
mitted on gym equipment for the ASTP studerts.

Dr. Bort Nash, the coordinator, tells me they are
going to wire the New York office of the U. 5S. Rubber
Company for quotations on shoes, and I thought that doubt-
less you might hoar from him. Your Kansas City
ative will probably be notified of this, but I just wanted
to pass the word along to you.
