Dear Roland,

Bob Allen is studying medicine at the University of Pennsylvania

in Philadelphia, and his sister, Eleanor, is also in school there. ©
Mrs. Allen desires that they see the Army-Navy game. I am wonder-
ing if you could tell me how we could purchase tickets for that

great spectacie?

Now, I do not expect you to get them, but if you'll tell me how I
can use any good offices to procure these tickets, I'll appreciate
4t. I know Mrs. Allen would rather see that game with them than

in the world, but she'll probably back out if we were
fortunate enough to get tickets. Won't you write me frankly and let
me know if there's a chance to get two? :

I’m almost afraid even to write and ask you if there's a chance

to get four, but you'll now hurt my feelings if you'll tell me very
frenkly just what the situation is. I'd greatly appreciate a reply
at your convenience. ee
