I went with him to this game, and had a nice visit with
Mike Ahearn whom I had not seen since 1907. That year the Western
Dental College team, of which I was a member, took a trip through
Kansas, playing the Kansas Aggies, Fort Riley Soldiers, Bethany
College, McPherson College, Sterling College, and the Newton Athletic
Club. We won 5 of those 6 games, losing the last night to Newton,
29 to 20.

In the Aggie game, on account of myself being a pro-
fessional ball player at that time, Mike Ahearn, the coach, played
with his team. "Great eligibility rules in those days."

Digging a little deeper into "eligibility", I believe the
focus could be thrown on you for if I remember correctly you coached
as well as played with the Kansas City School of Osteopathy.
