Dear Dr. Allen:

There are a few items of expense involved in connection with
the basketball game played here last night which might be settled
with a better understanding if you were able to come down here
within the next few days. I haven't received all of the bills
yet» but expect to be able to present a complete statement by
Thursday or Friday. There is a matter of some expense in adver-
tising and also the question of free admittance to the Wichita
University student body that I'd like to talk to you about.

Can you arrange to come down?

I want you to know that everyone in Wichita really enjoyed
the game last night. It was close enough for the greater part
of the game to make it a contest. The final thrilling exhibi-
tion by Mr. Engleman satisfied the crowd who expected great things
of him. You have a fine team and Wichita hopes that you will
