, I am @ little tardy in acknowledging your
kindness and courtesy to us when we were in Perry, .
Oklahoma on February 17.

Not only did I enjoy the very wholeso:e
conversation that we had, but I also enjoyed getting
back to a small town which I first visited in 1895,
Teo was a cireut ridere-a Southern ‘iethodist
uinister, and I remember when I was a youngster of ten
we visited Stillwater, Perry, and Pawnee. There were
plenty of Indians in their blankets in those days, and
I got quite a kick out of my early days’ experiences in
that town. ‘hat a change now in your progressive and
hospitable town! |

If you are ever in our part of the country,
it will be a delight to have you and your fanily es our
guests.
