ited Dress Associations INCORPORATED eee YORK GENERAL OFFICES NEWS BUILDING NEW YORK CITY KANSAS CITY BUREAU, JOURNAL-POST BLDG. December 16, 1938. Dr, Forrest ©, Allen, Basketball Coach, University of Kansas. Dear Phog: It am convinced that there is a good story behind the plans for the proposed national basketball tournament of the National Collegiate Athletic association to be held here in March. In what respect will these eliminations differ from the qualifying tournaments used to determine the entries for the National Intercollepiate tournament, scheduled here for March 13 to 187 Will these two tournaments conflict in any manner, or is there any possibility that they may be merged into one? Naturally, to me, the idea of twonational college tournaments in Sansas City is an intriguing one and seemingly worth a good story. Can you enlighten me? With Kindest Personal Regards, Cad ly a of Carl W,. Lundquist. KERLYN OIL COMPANY FIRST NATIONAL BUILDING ERS (Q CEN D OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. October 20, 1938. Mr. Forrest C.
