Deer Sir:

The time has passed quickly since I left school,
and I intended writing you sooner. I have a job at
an oil refinery and am working with the Miller boy.
“4y, Me¥ay, a local alumnus has asked Miller to conatct
him and this should be done in the near future.

I have talked to Miller and he is very anxious to
attend the University. He has an opportunity at Kanses
state that is very good, but he igs't interested. He
can also retain his refineyy job and attent Jr. College.
The voy really seems set on going to K. YU. I plan to
be in Lawrence a week from this Saturdgy afternoon, the
sixth (6) of duly. I thought + might bring the boy abong
because he wants very much to talk to you personally.

If you aren't going to be in Lawrence at that time
I would certainly appreciate it if you would ask Miss
Suitein to advise me of that fact at the avove address.

I certainly enjoyed the Baseball course and thank
you for the "B". I hope the summer program is running
smoothly. Please give Dave Shirk my regards.
