Dear Mr. Allen:

I have been out of the city for the past week, so my reply
to your letter was somewhat delayed.

We enjoyed the visit with you and your boys in the office
that day very muche No need for apologies, as I believe the
girls in the office enjoyed the company.

The following week after your visit, Charles decided to go up
to Wisconsin to see just what work they had cut out for him,
and he seems very well pleased, judging from his letters to us.
He is quite busy trying to hold down two jobs - so it looks as
though we have lost him to Wisconsin.

You have a standing invitation to drop in and see us any time you
are in Kansas City.
