Attention Royalty Adjustment Board Dear Sir; ® - I desire to make an explanation why the blanks which you mailed to me concerning information with respect to royalties paid and received by me which are charged or chargeable directly to the governnent, have not been filled out and returned more promptly. I wrote to the Fred Medart Manufacturing Co., Potomac and De Kalb Streets, St. Louis, Mo., asking that they fill out the blanks properly, as I have no record of the shipments that have gone out from them on government contracts. I have a royalty sgreement with Medart people and they send me a check every three months — to their shipments and their vookkeeping figures. T am quoting a letter from them as of September 10, 1945. "We wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 8, together with Government forms for reporting royalty payments. “The information requested osvers payments as far back as 1939. . : In order to obtain the necessary information, we will have to scrutinize every order which we have shipped on which a royalty payment was made to you. As this is a fairly large clerical job, we will get on to this work as promptly as possible and with sen in the information and forms to you just as soon as we can." : As soon as the Medart people furnish this information | to ne, I shall. sign it and send it on to you. Very cordially yours, Forrest C. Allen Director, Physical Education Varsity Basketball Coach FCA s:med
