He lettered in varsity baseball in 1957. He was oa member of my freshman basketball team and the freshman football team. Wis laboratory experience én these varsity teams has given him an unusual advantage in the coaching of the major sports. lie was at all times conscientious in his work, and a very observing student. lie has a fine personality with boys. !is work ig not of the mere adoidental type, but is founded upon experience and study. le was coach of all sports at Haskell Indian Institute where he made a most enviable record. iie left Haskell in the spring of 1942 to enter the service of his comtry.
