Dear Bones:

While I know these letters get monotonous nevertheless they are facts, and I feel quite
confident all the brethern are,.or should ve, men and can take it.

With refurnishing of the house and.contracting for ice box, stoves, linens, etc., etce,
ad infinitum, our outstanding bills. run in the neighborhood of $5,000 or $6,000. In
addition to that, we have back city taxes to pay. in the sum $200; another interest pay-
ment to meet in December of some $6005, consequently, it is imperative that collections
of house notes be pushed strenuously, I fesl quite confident that if the various bro-~.
thers would each contribute a°small amount that we can weather through this year, and
what with the returning veterans and ovr new pledge class, Mo Alpha should end up the
school year in fairly strong financial positions

Bélieve me, I greatly appreciate all tie help you and’ the Mo Alphan have  ,iven in ace
tually performing the job of acquainting the brothers with our financial condition.

I believe unquestionably we should continue the publication. of the Mo-Alphan, I sin-
cerely hope, too, that more of the alumi: will teke an active part from now on and
that when we hold our annual meeting on Sunday, November 18, at the house in Gol utte-
bia, we can exnect a good turnout.

Surely there are enough brothers still Shae tasiness here in these United States who
will be glad to help us weather the next four or five months, To those I am appealing
for Snntei butions in any amount and to you fellows who plan on returning from the Ser-
vices, for goodness sakes hurry up and get back for we really need your. youth and en-
thusiasm to guide the active management of the Chapter.

year before showed a total of six brothnors paying in full and the year before that sev~
“en, so you see things are picking up for your old chapter. You will also note that 50%
of the above are men in service, They really deverve DOUBLE THANX from us all. We have
113 members paid up now ow of a roll of 475 that does not look so go00d----- 25% paying
over a 40 year stretch.
