I have seen your name in the papers frequently of. late, however, and it always brings back fond memories when I see it. I imagine that you are calling in regard to turkish towels for your school. We have been fortunate in being able to serve you in years past, and we sincerely hope that we can continue to do so. We are, really in deplorable condition here at Baraboo, In January 1943 we had to stop sales to schools that could not give a workable priority. ve had over 4000 dozen towels on order for makeup at that time. We swung into the hospital and ordnance plant fields. Hospital business grew fast, ordnance plants swamped us. Now the latter are out of the picture, but hospitals still have 0800 dozen towels on order with us. We are running to top capacity here at Baraboo, capacity being regulated by the amounts of cotton yarns we can cajole from the southern manufacturers of yarns. At our present rate of production we have business enough on the books to keep us filled until next September. So, Dr Allen, about the only thing we can offer now is September 1946 deiivery. In lots of 50 dozen or more, SUPER-GYM plain stripe towels now sell at $7.69 per dozen, FOB Baraboo. We would be mighty glad to book your order for delivery next fall. As I said before, Dr Allen, we are in a bad spot. We want to get back into the field of our greatest love, the school field, but hospital orders carry a CC rating
