Your letter to the President of the University of
Kansas has been referred to me for aumters

: I am disappointed to state that at present we are
fully staffed in the Department of Physical Education for
this term and, as far as I know, at this time, we will be
so staffed for the 1946-1947 term. I might add, that if

- you are still interested in a position at this university
_ you might write sometime at: a later date, say perhaps early
summer, requesting this position, It is possible that
there might be some changes in the department by then
