Accept my heartiest congratulations upon your election to
the position of Governor of Rotary International District
123. I felt confident that you would be elected but I am

pleased, of course, to lmow that my confidence was not mis-

placed. I lmow you will make a wonderful Governor and I

want to assure you that I will cooperate with you in every
way possible. Feel free to call upon me for any service which
I can render. From my own personal experience as District
Governor, I know that you are in for a year of real oe
and pleasuree

Jean is nicely located at the Cutler House, 1215 Oread. She
is thoroughly enjoying her work and while she has not made
any hookup yet with a social organization, she is looking the
field over. I told her if she had an opportunity to ube in
and see you, she should do soe

I am going to be in Lawrence on the orth, as I broadcast on
the State Government's Program sponsored by the University.
I hope to get over early enough to have a little visit with
