I certainly wish that I had your ability to talk and write. You made a great impression on thesstudent body of North High School and I assure you that the welcome mat is always out for you. 3 Our baseball season was to have opened yesterday but as usual we had a snow which probably seems rather odd to one living in Kansas, however, it is nothing unusual for the "Mile High City". In fact we get our heaviest snowfall in April and May. No doubt you are well acquainted with our present President and I trust that he can ‘carry on the good work of his predecessor. He has has a tremendous:job ahead but with the help of all I feel quite certain that he will be a success. In my humble opinion too many people take democracy . for granted and not something for which we must fight. Mrs Moles has finally conquered her cold and she was very disappointed in not seeing you. Give Mrs Allen our best regards. April 15, 1945. Sincerely yours,
