Dear Lieutenant Michelman:

I want you to kmow how very much I appreciated your
graciousness in putting some of the basketball players ahead
of the group to receive their pay last week-end.

After I talked with you I had not expect this would
be done, but since you did this favor I want you to know that
I appreciate it very much. We have such a short time to drill
the boys that men like Harold “Sparky” MeSpadden, who was one
of our pleyers last year, are greatly missed when we work on
formations. For that reason I want you to know that we are
very grateful for your kind sonsideration.
