Dear Dr. Allens

This is in response to your recent letter to Mr. Banashek con=
cerning the matter of Rules books for Goal-Hi.

We fully appreciate that we have not made the most of distribut-—
ing Goal-Hi Rules books, however, we do propose to give Goal=Hi
a real shot in the arm in the Advertising Program that we will
launch immediately that we can determine when the "duration" is
about to end and we will be privileged to go back to manufactur-
ing our regular lines of equipment including Goal-Hi equipment.
At the moment we have not too many Goal-Hi standards on hand

and once they are gone there will be no more for the duration.
This is one of the many items that we manufacture that can not
be produced further according to the War Production Board re-
strictions.

We are doing a fairly good job of distributing Goal-Hi Rules
books regardless of the fact that we do not have many of the
outfits left on hand for sale. We never fail to get a half doz-
en to a dozen requests for rules books each day and of course
each and every one of those requests is answered promptly and

the Rules book is furnished without charge. As a matter of fact
any requests that we receive from dealers is answered without
costs and dealers are advised that there is no charge for this
book. We doubt very much that any of the dealers are charging
the $1.00 amount that we originally advertised, which some
dealers still mention in their catalogue.

Incidentally, Dr. Allen, we have not heard a great deal lately

as concerns the matter of providing basketball backstops with

an adjustable feature that will permit height of the baskets to
be changed depending on the classification of the players involv-
ed. Will you be so kind as to give us at your convenience latest
information cencerning this matter and if perchance you should b
either in St. Louis or passing through St. Louis in the near f t=
