Dear Doc:

We were very glad naturally to get Brookfield; he is
quite a ball player as you know, However, within the next
two or three weeks we are going to lose two of our regulars,
one of whom Kester is in the Air Corps Reserve am is to be
called in January and the other is Naylor who will go sometime
in January. I think the team to watch is Oklahoma, and who
ever heard of figuring the dear doctor shat of a championship.
That leaves me with Ray Wehde and Oulman as Roy Wehde is just
fair, Ihave a Pittsburgh boy, but he was just a freshman
sub on the team there last year. He won't help us any.
