Dear Louie:

want you to know that after you expressed yourself as you did re- |
gerding Kensas State I was in favor of going aleng one hundred per
cent with you. ;

Mike sent us some dates that he wanted and we changed our
sohedule with some service teams sc that we gave him the dates he :
desired. le wrote: “Thanks very much for your successful efforts ‘
to arrange a basketball date with us at Lawrence on January 18th.
Ne feel that the direstors of the Big six and the basketball coaches
have been very considerate in holding basketball dates for K-Stete."

I think it 1s nice of Mike to show his appreciation for your
and other coaches cooperation. :

By the way, Louie, I am sending you one of our Jayhawk Rebounds,
No. 5. Each month I get this out to the boys. I do not know whether
you or the boys at Iowa State are doing anything like this, but it is
something I like to do that keeps our boys informed as to the others’
_ whereabouts. When you were so kind to say the nice things you did
about Eleanor it oscurred to me that I would send you this and you
could get the dope on the Allen family. as :
