Dear Mr. Weaver:

Mr. Me He "Mike™ Malott, of Abilene, Kansas, expressed
to Chancellor Malott his desire to come to Lawrence sone-
time and play on our Lawrence Country Club course. I am
enclosing a copy of the letter I wrote him last week.

I am telling you about this so that you will hold your-
self in readiness to play som: Monday. Mr. Malott writes,
"Tt am going to accept your invitation for some time this
fall. I made a 48 on our ow nine hole course last Satur~
day but we have sand greens and I would be lucky to break
60 on your grass greens.”

I thought it would be easier to write you this note
than to explain it over the telephone.
