Thank you a great deal for your letter answering my own in
which I asked for further information regarding Dr. Naismith,
the inventor of the game of basketball.

On your direction I have written to Springfield, Massachusetts,
in which city Monsanto has a plant, and have asked one of my
representatives to look up all the information that the local
Y.M.C.A. may have on this subject. I will also try to obtain
the book, "Basketball - Its Origin and Development’, that you
Suggested I read to help me in my story.

When I have obtained this information, have it in published
form, I will make sure that you receive a copy for your own
interest and file on the subject.
