Allen Director of Physical Education & Recreation University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dr. Allen: I have just received your letter enclosing the invoice for the four Bobby Jones Wood clubs. As Mr. Wigglesworth is not at the office today, I am enclosing a firm check for these and charging them to his account. , Mr. Wigglesworth has asked me to express his thanks to you for your kindness in securing these clubs for him and I know that he will get as much of a "kick" out of them: as I have out of mine. Mrs. Mons and I attended a wedding Saturday afternoon, so golf was out of the schedule for me but even if there had been no wedding, it rained here all day, so I didn't feel as badly as I might have otherwise. Despite wet fairways I could not resist the temptation of playing eighteen holes yesterday afternoon, and you will be interested to know that those new wooden clubs are certainly getting warmed up. I am delighted with them. I have just talked to Jane, who sends you and her mother her love, and has asked that you send her Eleanor's address; she said she would like to hear from home but guesses it is her fault not having written you recently. The Rock River Conference of the Methodist Church opens at our church tomorrow morning and we will be hosts to them through Sunday, So you may imagine that we are pretty busy at our home right now. Klwood is helping usher Wednesday night, so Jane and he will hear our favorite Dr. Richard G. Raines of Hennepin Avenue, Methodist Church, Minneapolis, who is to give the address that evening. We are all well and happy and hope that you and yours are. With kindest regards, I am Cordially, HWM*O Airmail
