September 24, 1941. Mr. Harry W. Mons, Hill-Clarke Machinery Coe, 649 Washington Blvde, Chicago, Illinois. Dear Mr. Mons: I am very happy. indeed to order from As Ge Spalding Brothers a duplication of the order that was sent to yous I ordered it sent in your name for the reason that I thought it would be better because the salesman taking the order knew that your son had married my daughter. I had a perfect right to send it to Mr. Wigglesworth, but there were other people in the audience when I ordered, so that it was sasier to do it in this way. I @id not order golf balls because you did not speci- — fy then. If Mr. Wigglesworth wants them you just let me know and I will have a dozen sent him by mail. I was told by the salesman that there is a new goverment tax now on all athletic goods so there may be e small additional charge of five or ten per cent - I am mot sure. Anyhow, I will send you the invoice and you can give it to Ur. Wigglesworth and he can-mail me a checks ! | - We are always glad to hear from you and also to hear regarding the Elwood Nons's. 1 imagine the painting job that they were doing was on that miture that they bought. I understand they could buy dbre u ted furniture and they just decided to do the job themselves. : : By the way, did you receive thet arch normalizer from Wr. F. We Lang? I am anxious to hear how you are progressing» - Sincerely yours, e Director of Physical Education and Recreation, PCA:AR Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach.
