which were received yesterday morning.

You were very kind in going to the trouble to telephone
Mr. William Powell at Kansas City. I will let you know
when the golf clubs arrive and will send you my check for
them and the golf balls as soon as I receive your in-
voice.

I had a business golf date yesterday, and am satisfied
that the Whippy shafts, while they give considerable dis-
tance if properly used, are really not for me.
