We were delighted to learn of your safe arrival in Chicago
after your business trip to Atchison. I trust also that Mrs.
-Wons had a pleasant journey home.

I wanted you to know that. we were delighted with the Mons's —
coming to Lawrence and I am sure the good wishes are exceptional
in our case because Mrs. Allen and I both expressed the same .
thought that you people made us feel so very much at home in
entertaining you. In fact, the entire Nons household pleased

us most genuinly. Harriett, Elwood, and Jack wore great people-
so natural and so sincere. You and I just seem to have the same
ideas and principals concerning things. Our philosophies of
living and the thoughts we have regarding recreation and pleasure,
as well as our principals of physical fitness, are eoincidental,
